Hi, I’m Choong

I'm a registered clinical and sports nutritionist, a BJJ blue belt, and a former competitive powerlifter.

I'm also a dad of two and a husband, so I know exactly what it's like to juggle a busy life with the desire to be strong, healthy, and capable.

Throughout my career, I've seen both ends of the spectrum: I've helped elite athletes push the limits of performance, and I've guided individuals through the complexities of chronic health conditions like Type 2 diabetes.

I know what works at the extremes, and more importantly, I know what it takes to build a sustainable health and fitness system that ensures you consistently hit your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How is the coaching being delivered?

You would need internet access if not this will not work for you (fairly clear I hope!) and it will be delivered via two main platforms : Discord where all the coaching and communications as well as content library is housed and MyStrengthBook where the training and tracking will be done.

Are you actually registered?

Yes I am currently a registered clinical nutritionist with the CNA and a sports nutritionist with the SNA respectively.

Will I actually get personalised feedback, suggestions and tweaks for my nutrition and training?

Yes! You will have regular opportunities to ask any questions, submit even your training movements if you decide to film them and get direct feedback from myself within the private community space inside Discord.

Who is this for? I am someone who is very very new / experienced.

This is for anyone and everyone who is wanting someone to help with structuring out a plan that works best for them to get to their goals in a personalised way. The system works well for everyone because it's not a one-size-fits-all approach, rather its a framework, and having me there to personalise it to your needs. In saying that if you are an elite athlete or someone who has a chronic condition and need 1:1 help there are options and ways to do so.

Will you help me structure out how to achieve a certain health goal?

Yes, leave your questions in the community threads inside Discord I will personally help you out with a combination of written and video feedback.

Will I be held accountable?

There will be some level of accountability with weekly / monthly tasks or challenges but unless if you are singed up for 1:1 coaching I will not be messaging you daily. I believe in helping you create a pathway that can allow yourself to learn and build self-accountability which in my opinion, is the best form of accountability.

What are workouts like?

There is a wide spread of workouts to choose from for 2x a week all the way to 6x per week and scaled towards your experience level as well.

Where are you based and would this work if I dont live in the same country?

I have worked with tons of clients all over the globe, I am based in New Zealand but the internet is a powerful tool!

Will I receive coaching and speak to you personally?

Yes, aside from the personalised feedback I will also host monthly LIVE calls where you can ask your questions there too.

What if I cannot make a LIVE coaching call?

All calls are recorded, and it will be put into the content vault alongside a growing library of content around health, fitness, performance and nutrition.

What if I am unhappy about it all?

I’m confident you’ll love it. But if you’re not satisfied after the first free week* you can cancel and my feelings will not be hurt whatsoever ... Ok maybe a little bit as I know you will love it!
